World of Warcraft Item Upgrades The feature of upgrading items lets players upgrade their equipment. This can be done at any item upgrade r NPC. Armour Armour is among the most important factors that keep Link protected from damage in all situations. The first thing to note about Armor Upgrades is they are permanent upgrades and once they've been installed, they cannot be replaced unless you own another piece of equipment that has the same upgrade. You should only apply the most advanced upgrades to your equipment and make sure that you have the materials needed to complete the process. In terms of acquiring the upgrade components needed, you'll find them in a variety of places around Hyrule including shrines, shops as well as enemies. These are usually marked by the blue triangle or gold circle symbol and are found in huge numbers as you progress through. While they might appear randomly, there's a chance that acquiring certain upgrade components will result in a quest that will reward you with more. Armour is no different, with some Reforges being better than others. Magic Items A character can only upgrade one item of magic. If an upgrade plan is cancelled then any subsequent upgrades for that item will not begin. Magic items that are upgraded cost twice the amount of gold they normally cost to make or purchase, but they can also provide additional advantages. A magical item is an item with special properties or effects. The majority of these items are weapons, but there are some that are also armor, shields and cloaks, potions, scrolls, rings and other items. Some of these items may be made sentient. The majority of magic items enhance their capabilities. This makes them more useful to players, or can aid them in overcoming any difficult situation. An infused weapon might provide bonus damage against a particular enemy type, for example. This is especially useful for characters that have reached a point at which they'll likely encounter the same kind of monster in dungeons repeatedly. A ring with an infusion could grant protection against piercing, bludgeoning or slashing injuries from non-magical attacks (not even silvered ones) until the next time the character takes a lengthy rest. Some have additional abilities that are activated by pressing a button, or by activating a skill. The Flashlight is the most common utilitarian item. It lights up the surrounding area. Other items that are useful include the Helicopter Cap and Rocket Boots which allow the player float in mid-air while moving and the Jetpack that allows the player to accelerate in any directions while on the ground. A variety of useful items can be immediately produced in the Engineering section, while others can be unlocked through research projects or projects in the Proving Ground. In addition to the items that are available in the standard inventory, players can unlock additional useful items of utility by buying them from the Atomic Shop and also from seasonal Scoreboard rewards (such as the Shadow Goggles). Some of these items can be upgraded for more efficient use. Most utility items enhance an individual combat ability or give the player a kind of navigation advantage. For instance, Sharpening stones made by the Weaponsmith increase Ferocity and Power, while Maintenance Oils crafted by the Huntsman increase Concentration and Healing Power. Other items of utility can be utilized by players to boost Damage or Condition Damage. All XCOM soldiers can equip a useful item at the beginning of the campaign, and an additional slot can be obtained by equipping certain types of armor or completing engineering, research or experiments in the Proving Ground. In the Alien Hunters DLC, additional slots are created by equipping the Grenade Launcher, which lets the player equip an Smoke Grenade or Bomb in an additional grenade slot, while an offensive grenade is placed in the main grenade slot.
